The White Sheep of the Family was the 13th episode of Season 8 of Roseanne, also the 186th overall series episode. It was written by David Raether and was directed by Gail Mancuso. It originally aired on ABC-TV on January 9, 1996.

SynopsisEdit

After the Conners receive a small inheritance from Great-Aunt Harriet, they decide to go out for a nice dinner, with their limits already set, until Darlene unexpectedly pops in. Meanwhile, DJ is contemplating what to spend his own personal inheritance, $500. Darlene spends her visit home alienating the family and hurling insults, until the family finally bites back. DJ buys a trombone.

Plot summaryEdit

The Conners receive a small inheritance from their recently deceased Great Aunt Harriet and decide to spend it by going out on a nice dinner. However, the evening takes a turn for the worse when Darlene unexpectedly comes home. She spends most of her time alienating and insulting the rest of the family until a surprising fact about Darlene is revealed, as the rest of the family bites back!
